This lovely 6ft 7in Bechstein B grand from the last decade of the nineteenth century is another fine example of this iconic model. The instrument has the full 88-note keyboard and it has been totally restored to the very highest standard, with a a new wrest-plank. re-finished frame and a completely rebuilt action The original soundboard has been retained and completely repaired, as the tonal characteristics of the existing soundboard are almost always superior to that of a new replacement and we have also been fortunate enough to be able to retain and restore the original hammers,
