Designed by the renowned Rolf Ibach (whose family have been in the piano business since 1794!), the casework is very art deco, although photographs don’t do justice to the beauty of the curved front lid. Olympianist Tour!

The Olympianist is in training! Anthony Hewitt will be cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats in May, giving a concert on the way every evening. He’s not just a very talented concert pianist and a mad keen cycling enthusiast, but a great guy to boot as well, as its all for charity. Obviously we’re helping him out with pianos along the way! Barrie M came to see a Wendl & Lung 178 grand on a Tuesday and it was delivered to Scotland on the Friday thanks to the aptly named company Pianospeed! Barrie sent in a few photographs and said he was delighted with the piano. Happy practising Barrie!

We’ve just received our first Feurich, a compact 118cm upright with a beautiful balanced tone, lovely action and high quality polyester case, all finished in the characteristic yellow felt. After 160 years Feurich are still going strong, producing stunning hand-crafted pianos in Gunzenhausen, Germany. This is the nicest small upright we’ve ever had.
